What months do the lessons take place?
Swimming lessons are conducted through out the year in our heated indoor pool, and lessons out of your own pool runs during school term one, and school term 4 (October through to April. However, if you have a gas or solar heated pool lessons can continue during the cooler months, we are flexible so can work in with you.
Do you do holiday lessons?
Yes we do, intensive lessons are availabe during any school holidays either in our pool or in your own, this is a popular way to concentrate on specific skills, by repeating and practicing. It is an excellent way to fast track your childs swimming ability.
How much does lesson cost?
Lessons are based on time. Our minimum time for a lesson is 30mins. You can have up to four children in a lesson at any time. If there are more than one child in a lesson they need at a similar skill level for the best benifits, obviously your child will get more individual attention with less children in the class. If sharing the class you split the cost between families.
30 minute lesson = $50
40 minute lesson = $66.50
45 minute lesson = $75
60 minute lesson = $90
What if I have a family of 3 all at different levels?
In the case of children being at different swimming abilities, you would split the time between each child. For example if you booked an hour, you would do a 20 minute, one on one lesson with each individual child.
What age do you teach children from?
We can start teaching babies from 6 months old, we would recomend that you only swim in the warmer months or have lessons out of the indoor heated pool. There are things we can teach you as a parent to prepare your baby for swimming and being confident in the water.
How do I pay?
A term invoice will be generated and sent to you, this will inlude all lessons for the term. You can make payment by EFT , or payment by cheque. Account name is Tracey M Ussher.
What if it is raining or my child is sick?
In the case where the weather is poor, or your child is ill, you can call me on my mobile 0414650856, if you give reasonable notice the lesson can be made up at a time that suits you and your instructor. The only time we will cancel a lesson is if there is an electrical storm, so unless you call we will send an instructor. A copy of our cancellation terms and conditions are attached. Do you hold insurance?
Yes, LiquidSwim and its instructors are insured and registered to teach swimming.
What equipment do I need to have?
You just need to be there, for clients swimming in their own pool, a rashshirt is recomended for sun protection, but the instructor will bring all the all the equipment required for teaching all abilities.
Can I purchase gear from LiquidSwim?
We sell goggles, kickboards, fins, backbubbles and springsuits an instructor can bring it straight to you, the gear the instructor uses is in stock to buy, let us know if you are interested.
Where is the indoor heated pool and do I have to pay an entrance fee?
The indoor pool is situated in North Ryde, LiquidSwim leases the pool, so there is no entrance fee. There is covered free parking, warm showers and lockers.
